FIELDS 

Mörtmarkin Peruna's field area is 296 acres (120 hectares). In 1988 farming and producing potatoes became one of the productional directions. As a result of fine crops and positive consumer reactions, potato became the most important product and the size of the potato fields was stabilized to 173 acres (70 hectares). Rotation of crops is possible, because of the size of the farm. It is essential as it gives the soil a chance to regain it's strength.
